Experiencing the highest high of my life: the declaration of a 30 year old

Free not to want to change
Any situation in my life…
Almost… I still wish I were about twenty pounds lighter.
My mind is clear, imagination soars.
My soul is singing.
My feet are dancing.
Barely sitting on the edge of my seat.
Not that I would sit still, -
Only this time - not anxious, but free.

Starting with the clothing…
A great portrait defines your particular stage in life, but it cannot possibly be brought to life without great clothing choices. By starting with your closet, you must analyze it to determine what kind of style it contains. Clothing that contains bold patterns must be put against plain backgrounds that would bring your entire self [...]
Mom’s Gift
We recently got a call from a very nice lady who asked us to photograph her along with her sisters and brother. This nice lady turned out to be Kay Whitley, Michelle Whitley’s Mother in Law. If you remember, we photographed Michelle’s family before Christmas. Ms. Kay told us that she was retired and was [...]
Alana’s Three Month Photo Session
After Veta’s loooooong vacation to Ukraine, we’re back in action. Our first session this year features Alana. This big girl is over three months old now and was in dire need of some portraits. She did so well for us that we are convinced her future lies in modeling. She is featured here wearing clothes [...]
From Russia With Love
Our two favorite Russians are Denis and Maria (also known as Masha)! Their personalities really shine through in these photographs. I’m sure that after you see these, you’ll understand why we like them so much.
We met Denis and Masha at church and sort of hit it off from there. We saw them at church this [...]
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Azelle Photography!
Well, 2008 is almost gone. Things seem like a blur - ‘06, ‘07, ‘08 - where do they go? We celebrated our first Christmas in this house in 2005, and now, at the time of the 4th Christmas celebration, this place is feeling like home.
What we will do in 2009, we do not yet know. [...]
Santa we know so little about!
One of the topics that is very very interesting to me personally is religious history. I recently came across an excerpt in my daily readings about St. Nicholas of Myra, a.k.a. Santa, and I found it refreshing to see a human side to such a respected elder mainly known for his generosity.
Nicholas the Wonderworker, Archbishop [...]

Today, we shot the D.Family………with our cameras!
We’ve known the D. family for a while now and have wanted to photograph them for a while as well. We set up a shoot for last weekend, but we got rained out. Now, I know why we were rained out. We were destined to do it today.
This morning we [...]
The W’s. Friday - November 26, 2008
This morning, we were scheduled to photograph Brantley and Michelle Whitley’s family. It’s such a compliment and an honor for someone to ask us to shoot without having met us.
