Azelle Photography is a husband and wife team specializing in creative on-location, documentary-style portraits and events, whose passion is creating photographs that are modern and most of all, genuine.
Many ask what Azelle means. We often hear that the name Azelle is mysterious, engaging and compelling. Azelle is derived from the Hebrew name Azel, which means “noble or distinguished”.This summarizes our customer service philosophy, as we strive to treat our clients as noble and distinguished persons, offering them a boutique-style customer service experience that is second to none. So, in a sense, our name actually points to our clients.
Building upon the mystery around the name, Azelle Photography’s style is creative and has a touch of fashion flare and down-to-earth tones. Although skilled in flash photography, we prefer to photograh in natural light. When comparing studio photography to on-location photography, we bring out a comparison of a studio music recording vs. a live concert. While a studio offers a superb clarity of sound, we prefer the energy that a live experience offers. For us “live” is “on-location”.
What inspires us? Sincere, truthful moments do. Their essence simply asks to be recorded, and we strive to do just that with photography. In this modern world, we take our unique and diverse experience and translate it into art that relates to you today.
