Alana’s First Year Portrait Session

Alana had a big birthday on September 25th. She turned ONE!
However, this was the closest date that we could shoot her portrait. Unfortunately, Alana had an ear infection over the weekend, but she was a trooper. Whining a little between shots, she did her best to make it work. If you’ll remember, Alana’s had her portrait taken at Wormsloe before. Only during that photo shoot, she was confined to a tummy. She’s also posed at Forsyth Park, during her three and six month sessions. She wasn’t “getting around” much those times either. But no more! Here she is in all of her mobile glory :)
Here’s Alana accompanied by Mommy and Daddy, beside the “mile-long oak alley.” Alana seemed to enjoy the shaded grounds.
Here’s the queen of “big stuff” pulling up on the fence outside of the visitor’s center. She almost appears proud here. She gives Aunt Veta all the cheeky smirks!

It’s just more fun to look at the ground from over the rail.

Here’s Alana in her brand new tutu that her Aunt Veta picked out for her. It’s a special “First Year Birthday Outfit”.

What better way to celebrate than a dance with Daddy in her new tutu!

Mommy’s not a bad dancer, herself!

I am so so glad that we have you two taking pictures of our precious baby girl, because, for the life of me, I have a hard time remembering all the former sessions. Thank you, thank you very much. By the way, Veta, the tutu was just perfect. I surely do love you two. Mama
The pictures are everything we’d wanted and so much more. I especially loved the family hug shots! You both have captured some of our most beautiful moments and preserved them for us to savor. We love you both very much. THANK YOU!!
Very Happy Mommy :)
