The G.Family
This evening, we met the parents and the children of the G. Family . They’re such a beautiful family and we enjoyed the evening with them immensely. Mom and Dad are both artists so it was both a pleasure and an honor to be able to photograph their family. We do our best whenever we shoot, but we know that it’s especially important when shooting fellow artists.
It’s a good thing that Fletcher and his sister Lola Gray, made it easy for us. They were both very warm and welcoming. Lola Gray was eager to show us her room and her Princess attire, while Fletcher displayed all of the latest forms in children’s yoga. I might mention that Fletcher is also a wonderful Superhero pretender with a special gift for showing off many of a Superhero’s signature poses.
We wanted to make sure that we got a photograph of the family reading together. The way that they all fell into position with minimal direction leads us to believe that they’ve done this before :)

This image contains a message that the family stands by: childhood literacy. Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy is the organization that this family supports. The foundation’s mission is to ”provide books for local communities to prepare all Georgia preschool children for reading and learning success.” What is a better way to help a child grow than to teach a child to understand this world better, through their own eyes and a discovery process?
