Jason & Veta’s Sunday at the Beach

I love the beach. When the weather is like it was today, I can’t resist. It is the sound of the wave against the sand, the salt in the air, the wind, the sun - I guess, all four elements of nature gathered at once.
Jason and I left the church service, grabbed some lunch, and headed for Tybee. Apparently, others thought it was a great idea, as well - the pier parking lot was full, and the beach front was full of folks. The tide was really low, so Jason and I experienced the wandering off to farther distances along the shore.
It was an ultimate “puddling” experience - kind of like the ones I remember from childhood- going through the water knee-deep (ankle-deep for some), splashing around with your feet, looking for “treasures”. It was so peaceful… I did find my treasure today. I finally saw several sand-dollars, one of which was not alive anymore, so I took it home! Photographing the sea gulls is a traditional past time of any beach photographer. It was just fun to point and click at anything or anyone that was in front of the camera. No stress - that’s the definition of beach pastime.
