When Kristin and Dustin told us that they were getting married at Woodlawn Plantation in Guyton, we didn’t think very much about the matter. We had heard of Woodlawn before, but even living just south of Guyton, we’d never been there. But after photographing their engagement session there yesterday evening, we can tell you that Woodlawn is the perfect spot for Kristin and Dustin’s upcoming wedding celebration.
These two have been together for quite some time and we originally began to get to know them little bit by bit after photographing Kristin’s sister’s wedding a few years ago. Kristin is a self-proclaimed city-girl transplanted to a country-setting and Dustin is quite the rural fellow himself. With me having spent many weekends at my Granny’s farm growing up and Veta being raised in an urban environment, we can relate to these guys! After shooting them for a few hours, we can definitely tell that they’re a calm and happy couple who are genuinely happy to just be together. Enjoy these few teasers from their engagement session.
