A Charleston Wedding – Celebrating Love, Celebrating Life

Brielle told us before her wedding that she didn’t want to pressure us to capture one thing or another.  She told us to capture life.  Her authentic devotion to Chris and his to her made our task lighter.  Their intimate and reverent ceremony took place at the River House in Charleston, South Carolina.  True to tradition, Brielle and Chris didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but they did want to pray together.  A large and might oak provided separation for their prayer and what a mighty metaphor it was for the beginning of their life together.  Strong, growing, and ever green.  Concluding their wedding ceremony, Brielle and Chris planted a tree symbolizing the beginning of their life together.

A HUGE thanks to our extremely talented & professional colleague, Derek Scearcé, for photographing this event with us. Your help was much needed and appreciated!

Thank you very much, Julie! The couple sets the look and the mood for the event. Our task is to tune into their world and to capture their event taking place. Hopefully, this sampling of photographs from Brielle and Chris’ day reflects both!
